Families First – Strength Pathways

Supporting families of wounded, injured or sick veterans and serving personnel across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
The Families First – Strength Pathways project provides tailored support for family members of those who have served, or are still serving, in the Armed Forces and are living with physical injury, mental illness or other long-term health conditions. We understand that when one person is affected, the whole family is impacted.
This project is funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund through the Family Focus Programme, and is delivered by STEPWAY CIO across both our Worcestershire and West Midlands Wellbeing Centres.

Who is this for?
This programme is open to:
- Family members of wounded, injured or sick veterans
- Family members of serving Armed Forces personnel who are unwell or injured
- Spouses, partners, parents, carers, siblings and children over the age of 18
(Younger children are welcome to join in with some of the activities when accompanied by a parent/guardian.)
You do not need a formal diagnosis or to be in crisis to receive support. We’re here for you, whatever your situation.
