Workshops and Free courses
STEPWAY Friday Forums
The STEPWAY Friday Forums are weekly workshops held at the LINK Community Hub, Powick, bringing together staff, volunteers and trustees from across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
Designed to help people learn, connect and grow, each forum includes STEPWAY updates, group discussions, a workshop topic and practical IT skills sessions. Topics change each week and cover a wide range of subjects, including trauma-informed practice, supporting people in crisis, communication skills, social media and much more.
The first Friday of every month is dedicated to introducing STEPWAY services and providing refreshers in safeguarding, health and safety and basic IT skills. These sessions are ideal for new and potential volunteers, as well as existing team members who would like a refresher.
Refreshments are provided, travel expenses are available and all materials, workbooks, notepads and pens are supplied. A laptop or tablet is optional for IT sessions.
Whether you are looking to develop new skills, stay informed or explore volunteering opportunities, the STEPWAY Friday Forums offer a welcoming and supportive environment where we can continue learning and growing together.
