Banter and Brew

Our Banter and Brew sessions in Worcestershire are exactly what they sound like – good conversation, plenty of tea and a few laughs along the way. Whether you pull up a sandbag, a bollard, or for our RAF brethren a comfortable chaise longue, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting. It’s a relaxed space where veterans can share stories, enjoy a bit of banter and reconnect with that sense of belonging that comes from being around people who just get it. No ranks, no pressure – just brew, banter and good company.

7-Step Civilian Skills Program
Our 7 Step Civilian Skills Program has supported hundreds of veterans and family members as they navigate life beyond the Armed Forces. Built around mental health awareness and the practical realities of civvy street, the course provides a “survival kit” of tools, insight and support to help people rebuild confidence, structure and direction. Many who have completed the program are now moving forward with renewed purpose, stronger wellbeing and a clearer path ahead. For some, it has quite simply been life changing.

HMP Support
We support veterans in custody through our in-reach programme. This includes:
The 7-Step Civilian Skills Program inside prison
Pre-release planning and post-release welfare support
Referrals for housing, employment and mental health
Working closely with prison staff, Op NOVA and the Probation Service
Our aim is to reduce reoffending and help veterans rebuild their lives after release
